Action for Children Employment Support offer training programmes and intensive 1:1 support with a focus on employability to young people aged 16-24 who reside in Edinburgh and East Lothian. They deliver services from stages 1-4 of the employability pipeline.
Action for Children's aim is to help young people explore their abilities. Our employability services show them the possibilities and potential they have.
Their employment and training services give young people the chance to choose which route in life suits them best. They do this through:
- Offering work tasters, placements, skills and job seeking workshops through our Employability Programme
- Providing pastoral support with any barriers to employment
- Giving young people learning opportunities through our SQA accredited Centre.
