Every year on 8th March, the world marks International Women’s Day. It’s a global celebration of the achievements of women. The event celebrates women’s achievements and aims to raise awareness about equality for women around the world and makes the case for gender equity.

International Women’s Day was first celebrated in 1911 and has grown from then to be a major event, with individuals, organisations and governments around the world observing it and holding events to raise awareness of women’s issues.

For 2022, the theme is #BreakTheBias and it aims to get everyone involved in calling out bias against women, smashing stereotypes, breaking inequality, and rejecting discrimination.

At Create Business properties, we support the aims of International Women’s Day and we’re proud to be not only a female-led social enterprise but to support a fantastic community of businesses, many of which are also led by women. To celebrate IWD22, we’re briefly showcasing each of these businesses – starting with ourselves!
